To celebrate the first official appearance on the Shanghai-China market of the luxury car brand Genesis, they decided to break the world record. By breaking that record, they launched a total of 3,281 drones at the same time, on March 29, 2021, the first and ever in the world.
Genesis is a luxury car brand of Hyundai Motor Group of South Korea, which was established during 2015. Recently, they officially entered the Shanghai Chinese market. Because the joint drone launches were overwhelming and unprecedented, they also successfully broke the Guinness World Record. The previous record-breaking drone launch was set by Shenzhen Damoda Intelligent Control Technology researchers with a total of 3,051 drone launches in September 2020.
